Эвкалипты составляют до 70% лесного покрова Австралии, их здесь несколько сот видов. Это вечнозеленые растения, листья их не опадают на зиму, зато кора опадает и меняется ежегодно.
Кора начинает спадать весной, и к началу лета, а сегодня 3 декабря, австралийское лето, большинство уже стоят без коры. Что я и увидел во время утренней прогулки.
