Австралийские власти сообщили, что с 16 февраля визы для украинских граждан для поездок на пятый континент будет выдавать посольство (Australian High Commission) в Лондоне.

Visa processing arrangements for Ukraine from 16 February 2015

Processing of Australian visa applications for Ukrainian nationals living in the Ukraine will be undertaken by the Australian High Commission in London from 16 February 2015.

 

How do I lodge my application?

Paper visa applications made for Citizenship by Descent, Partner, Prospective Marriage, Child, Student, Visitor and certain temporary visa applications can be sent by courier to:

Ukrainian nationals can apply for certain visas through the department’s online services. Where there is a prompt in the online service requesting an office location, select the Australian High Commission in London. Documents in support of the visa will need to be scanned and attached to the online application.

There are certain visa types that may be processed by another office.

What is the method of payment for the application?

The Australian High Commission in London accepts the following payment methods:

- Credit card in Australian Dollars: Mastercard Credit Card, Visa Credit Card, American Express Credit Card, Diners Credit Card and JCB Credit Card. Clients that complete the payment section of the application form are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) only. Please note that if paying by credit card in Australian Dollars you may incur banking and currency conversion fees and you accept the risk associated with any currency fluctuations.

- Bank Cheque in Pounds Sterling and made payable to the 'Australian High Commission'. If your bank is outside of the UK you must request a bank cheque that can be ‘cleared’ in the UK and paid into a UK bank account. London cannot accept bank cheques in EUROs, Australian Dollars or any currency other than Pounds Sterling.

Personal cheques or company cheques are not accepted.

What type of documentation do I need to submit in support of my application?

 

Application requirements differ from visa to visa. Before you lodge a visa application, it is important to familiarise yourself with the application form and document checklist on what needs to be provided. The document checklist is available from the website: www.immi.gov.au

The Australian High Commission in London requires all documents that are not written in English to be translated into English by an accredited translator. The translation of the document and the original or certified copy of the document must be submitted with the application.

 

How do I make a general enquiry?

The Europe Service Centre is a dedicated and specialist service that handles all enquiries relating to Australian visa and citizenship requirements if you are based in Europe. Will there be a change to the service I will receive?

No. There should be no impact to processing timeframes when lodging through the Australian High Commission in London.

Ukrainian nationals may wish to consider online services as they provide a convenient, fast and accessible way to apply for visas.

 

My application is with the Australian Embassy in Moscow. What will happen to my case?

Visa and Citizenship by Descent applications that were received by the Australian Embassy in Moscow before 16 February 2015 will continue to be processed by the Australian Embassy in Moscow.

 

My application is with the Australian Embassy in Berlin. What will happen to my case?

Aged Dependent Relative (subclass 114), Remaining Relative (subclass 115) and Carer (subclass 116) visa applications will continue to be received and processed by the Australian Embassy in Berlin.

 

I am a Ukrainian national living in Russia. Where should I lodge my visa application?

The Australian Embassy in Moscow accepts applications from Russian nationals and those who reside in the Russian Federation as third country nationals.

 

I live in the Crimean Peninsula of Ukraine. Where would I lodge my visa application?

Applicants who reside in Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk or the surrounding areas must lodge their applications at the Australian High Commission in London.

 

I am not a Ukrainian national and live in Ukraine. Where would I lodge my visa application?

The Australian High Commission in London accepts applications from Ukrainian nationals and those who reside in Ukraine as third country nationals.

 

Will I be expected to travel to London for an interview?

You will not be expected to travel to London for an interview.
