Not far from our home, on the banks of the Parramatta River, builders have worked hard for the past ten years. The place is nice and comfortable. From the center in 25 minutes you can reach by rail or a little longer by the river by ferry. The bank, formerly covered with meadows, which is why it got its name Meadowbank, is now a huge urban area, with houses that seem to overlap one another. And of all the meadows, only a small green patch remained, next to which there is a children's playground, and three iron boats stand on poles near the water, which rotate around their axis, creaking in strong gusts of the south wind. 96% of the inhabitants of this area now live in apartments, while the national average this figure is only 10%. If this is the future of the whole of Australia, then hopefully not very soon.
