Хор, исполняющий российские и советские песни, стал сенсацией в России. Australian Story producer Vanessa Gorman saw one of Russian choir Dustyesky's very first performances at the Mullumbimby Music Festival in 2015.
She was delighted with both the music and passion of the choir and has followed their unlikely rise to fame ever since. When Australian Story were planning a performers-during-covid episode she jumped onboard to tell the unlikely rise of this group of 28 men from Mullumbimby becoming a viral sensation in Russia.
