On November 29, Brisbane hosted the Asia Pacific Film Screening Awards Academy Awards, which is often called the Asian Oscar because of its significance for the enormous region of the author's cinema and the grandeur of its scale. Since films from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and most of the nominees needed translation services for the APSA Award, the organizers invited two translators - Angelina Smolkova-Bismarck and me.
