On November 13, NSW Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Ray Williams, invited representatives of various state ethnic communities to convey gratitude for the hard work that was carried out in 2018 and mark the end of the year. It may be a little early to mark the end of the year in mid-November, but the Parliament closes in a few days, all parliamentarians will disperse in their constituencies and on holidays until the new year. The meeting, which brought together over two hundred people, was held in one of the halls of the NSW Parliament on Macquarie Street in Sydney.
