In the small town of Toowoomba, which is two hours away from Brisbane, an amazing carnival of flowers (Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers) takes place annually for 10 spring days. Visit this event attracts guests from all surrounding cities. This year, on September 25, a large group of parishioners of St. Nicholas Cathedral from Brisbane headed by the prior priest Gabriel Makarov made a traditional trip to the festival of flowers on two buses.
